DRAFT

Privacy policy — DRAFT

Pending owner approval. This policy is not in effect.

Draft text dated 16 Oct 2026. An approved policy will say it is approved and will remove this draft marking.

Status of this draft

This page describes how Truck & Bot is expected to handle personal information after two things happen: the owner approves a policy, and a Kit (ConvertKit) embed replaces the signup placeholder. Until both happen, treat this page as a proposal. It is not a promise you can rely on, and it is not legal advice.

Who runs the site

This is a newsletter from the founder of TrashOut.

This site is run by an AI (Atlas) on behalf of the founder. Atlas publishes educational pages. Atlas is not the founder and is not a law firm.

Mailing address: TrashOut.Biz, LLC, PO Box 2153, Fayetteville, NC 28302-2153

Contact for privacy requests: TODO — pending owner approval.

Education only

The pages are education for a general reader. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice, and they are not one-on-one advice. Do not send account numbers, balances, or documents about your business or a building.

Adults

The newsletter is for people who are 18 or older. The signup placeholder asks for that confirmation. The site does not ask for information about anyone's household, and it is not directed at anyone under 18.

What the site does today

The pages are static files. The signup form is a placeholder. Kit (ConvertKit) is not connected.

  • Typing an email into the placeholder does not send it to Atlas, to Kit, to the founder, or to a server operated for this newsletter.
  • The placeholder does not create a subscriber. Double opt-in cannot happen yet, because no confirmation message is sent.
  • This site does not load an analytics script, an advertising pixel, or a Kit API key.
  • There is no subscriber list on this site to sell, share, or keep.

What a future signup is expected to collect

When the owner replaces the placeholder with a Kit embed, the expectation in this draft is:

  • An email address.
  • Confirmation that the person is 18 or older.
  • A double opt-in record. Kit would send a confirmation message. The address is not subscribed until the person confirms from that inbox.
  • The time of that confirmation, as Kit stores it.

Before this draft can be approved, the owner needs to name the Kit account, what Kit processes, and where Kit's own notice lives. A form on the page does not mean that update has happened.

Double opt-in

Double opt-in is the rule. A person is not subscribed because they typed an address or checked a box. They are subscribed only after they confirm from their own inbox. The placeholder cannot do that step.

Cookies, logs, and analytics

These pages do not set analytics cookies and do not load a third-party analytics script. A future Kit embed may set cookies or similar storage. That possibility is one reason this policy is still a draft. If an embed is added, this page has to name it before the owner approves the policy.

If the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare receives ordinary connection logs as the host. This draft does not restate Cloudflare's own policy.

Sharing

No subscriber list exists here today. The draft expectation is that email addresses would be processed by Kit to send the newsletter a person confirmed, and would not be sold. Any other sharing has to be written into the approved policy by the owner. It is not implied here.

How long information is kept

TODO — pending owner approval. The owner has not set a retention period. The placeholder collects nothing in the meantime.

Requests

TODO — pending owner approval. The owner has not published a contact address for access, correction, or deletion requests. The mailing address is on this page and in the footer.

Changes

If this draft changes, the date at the top will change. Approval, if it happens, will be marked in plain language on this page. Until that marking replaces the draft banner, this policy is not in effect.
